DR SIVI GOUNDEN

Dr Gounden is the Chairman of the HolGoun Group of which he is the founder.  Dr Gounden was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Bateman Engineering N.V., where he was responsible for the listing of Bateman Engineering N.V. on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.  He also has over the last 10 years served as a Non-Executive Director of Optimum Coal, Lonmin Plc, Grindrod Limited and Anglo American SA.  Prior to that, he was the Director-General of the Department of Public Enterprises, where he was responsible for the listing of Telkom SA on the New York Stock Exchange Inc and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.  He presently holds directorships in the HolGoun Group of Companies and Daly Credit Corporation. Dr Gounden graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Durban-Westville and holds a Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the University of Natal.
